(no subject)
I was crafty tonight, in anticipation of a baby shower I am attending tomorrow. Well, would be attending, if tomorrow was October 2nd. Since it isn't, I'll be attending next weekend. At least I have my gift nearly done!
I started with two packs of onesies (about 5 bucks for a pack of 3), and three pieces of felt. I wanted polarfleece, but couldn't find any, and I thought I had to get these done for tomorrow....
I tea-stained two of them, and they turned out really well. I'm going to either do some designs with bleach pen on those, or do white iron on letters ("Got Milk?). For the others, I cut out the shapes and appliqued them on. Or, rather, I sewed them on very carefully, but I suck at stitching things accurately, so they kind of look a little screwy. Still, all things considered, I think they ROCK.
Now, I hope the felt doesn't stain the rest of the onesie in the wash, or completely fall apart. That would suck.
