So today I had my "interview" which didn't turn out to be an interview at all. It was an open house for the temp place which peeved me a little because not once was it mentioned in the listing OR did Sonal mention it to me over the phone. Since when does "business casual" mean jeans? O_o Seriously, I thought business casual meant "no suits, no ties, but still polished and professional"... Just curious (and slightly envious... haven't worn jeans to work since LAST thanksgiving, and BOY did our boss get reamed a new one for that ( ... )

That's what they said, lol. She was like "The dress is business casual. They basically wear jeans everyday. So that's nice!". I only really own jeans, so that's a bonus for me :D ( ... )

UGH. Seeing newbies come in at seven and change really irks me off. I started out at 5.15 and busted my ass to making almost double now... Here's the thing: They raise the minimum wage 'cuz the cost of living is going up. Um, the cost of living goes up for the rest of us as well! Can't we ALL get a little bump? HMM? *sigh* I'd be doing pretty good if my wages went up the same amount. Pretty soon, I WILL be doing minimum wage and STILL be management. Guh ( ... )
