I knitted a few baby bibs, showered, and then headed over to Rays around 10pm cause I was wide awake and wanted to get out of the house. Oh... wow. :D Halfway through I was thinking, "Um, why not just unplug the thing?" *lol* It sounds like my stereo. Mine is several years old and has a rather curious short. I press the "on" button and it goes into time-change mode. I go to turn up the volume, and it switches from CD to tuner. It wont' read cd's half the time, and when it changes from one cd to another, I have to hit the "door open" button to get it to load right. I can only operate the thing properly from the remote... oh, and the tape decks are dead, which is why I just spent $200 on all the HP books on CD. Since I cant' listen to my tape collection. *sigh* But yeah, I agree, if it turns on after it's unplugged, I'd be seeing a priest. *nods*

The spider thing sounds like our mouse issues. :) Our cats chase and capture mice, but they believe in "Catch and Release"... which means my housemate is standing on a chair screaming while I'm running about with a bucket and a yardstick. Good times!

lol my cat likes to put his paw on bugs, then lift it and watch them scurry under a couch or dresser.
