That was a goooood fire show.

I've performed at the Meadow Swim Club for the last 4 or 5 years in a row, for their summer luau.  The kids there, they know me.  They recognize me.  They have elevated me to "rockstar" status.

I believe part of what makes you a great performer, a unique performer, a sexy performer is that you do such a great job performing, you can evoke all sorts of emotions from people of all ages by the actual performance. And you can do it w/o "giving it all away" i.e. sans hotpants.

I'm sure you'd like quite tasty in them, but the fact you never need them to get the same reaction is a testament to your m4d sk11z ;)

And maybe that's not for show? Like, you have a husband, if you want to be flirty, you can do that whenever the whole horse and pony show for other people, isn't what you do. Certainly isn't your bread and butter, and to some extent a half dozen of the 'wrong' pictures, could mess up what 'fire pixie' is for the kids.

And again... really, need to flash that hot in front of folks? With your friends, you can do that stuff whenever, and yeah, husband, out dancing, don't really need to get paid to hustle that part of your bustle.

And yes, I have friend who do all of it; there's an Oakland burlesque thing I'm going to to support a friend. And it'll be fun 'cause she'll be out having fun, but I don't need to see this stuff, lots of people don't, so don't feel like 'upping your game', into territory that's not a personally motivated joy.

(catching up on LJ after not being able to get on for a week)

As a mom, I've found people who can truly relate to kids and share joy with them can be a rare talent. I used to think it's easy - but it takes a little something special to put kids at ease, bring out their imaginations, and stir up that joy. You have that in bunches :)
