It is. I'm a firm believer that corn is the first step to an oncoming apocolypse. The root of all kinds of evil. Diabetes, pollution, unfair work practices...etc. I have this awesome documentary called King Corn you should borrow.

That is a really interesting belief. I like it in contrast to Aztec and Mayan worship of corn. It was seen as a God, and during colonialism in South and Central America, many indeginous groups would incorporate images of corn into the Catholic churches they were being forced to build. This way, as they entered these churches to 'worship' a Christian God, there would be a chance for them to worship the Corn, that they held in such high regard. The Colonizers had no clue.
