Welcome back. I'm seeing Bob Mould tomorrow night and I, also, am not that excited. However, I find I enjoy shows more if I go in with no expectations.
Maybe it's because you've waited so long for the concert date to arrive, that you're sort of numb to the fact that you're actually going to go see PAUL MCCARTNEY. I'm seeing him on the very last night, and I'm not as excited now as I was before. I'm just so tired of waiting. But I know I'll be on freakin' pins and needles when the time comes.
Dear Heather! I was going to write you a letter, because I was worrying about you. Sometimes it's very pity, when some of your friends disappearing from LJ. Glad to hear from you. How are things?
I'm glad to hear from you too, friend! Things are good, for the most part; I suppose I just needed a break from the ol' LiveJournal for a while. How have you been whilst I was away?
Well, I'm fine, thank you. I was on summer holidays in august. Me and my girlfriend went to Seliger Lake for ten days. It's a beautiful place, which I can't discribe in words, but if you want to, I'll show you some photos. It's located no too far from Moscow - in 400 kilometres, I think. I felt myself like a mother's nature son there :) We were riding bikes, and fishing for the first time in our lives, and swimming, and playing pool and so on. It was a great time! So sad that we had to return to Moscow. Moscow is a terrible big city, with millions of cars and people. Now I'm going on business-trip to Holland in december. But indeed I want to change my job, because I'm tired of this place and my bosses - they are ugly people.
I had English classes last month, but my grammar still staying very poor, as you see. Sorry for mistakes :))
I'm so glad you enjoyed your holiday! I know I could about use one of those right now. I would love to see pictures, too, if you would be so kind; I've always wanted to visit Russia.
I can empathize with your distaste for big cities and your yearning for a change of pace - I'm all for uprooting and starting over again, if that's what it takes to make you happy.
And as for your English, I applaud you! English is a very hard language to get a hold of, and you are doing beautifully. I know I am currently taking Spanish classes, and I am far too timid to try and communicate with native speakers - don't let your grammar daunt you, friend! I can understand you fine.
