firings, destruction, and socio-enviromental ethics

We've got a three and a half person crew (one works part time with us) that runs the A-dog kennels. On Wednesday one of them got fired. On Thursday (largely in response to the firing) the other full-timer put in his two weeks notice. Which means I'm going to get two new co-workers in the next three weeks. I felt pretty much the same way after Super-Size Me. There are some quality reasons that I shouldn't come within a three-mile radius of a fast food joint, and I don't much approve of the people in there. Yet I still find myself in a drive thru every once in a while.

My psych class has a kick ass explanation of this, which is the same phenomenon as heroin addiction (non-biological).
