So Ashley got a new job. Her old one (an internship in the marketing department of the State Marine Board) was to end soon, and she was getting nervous. Her new job, which starts in two weeks is with a private company that promotes Oregon tourism. Seems like a good group of people, and shes pretty excited about the job. I've got a car!!! Its a fucking awesome car, too. 1998 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Yeah, two doors, another small car. But it gets a good 35 mpg, and still looks sweet. Its white, and has a CD changer under the passenger seat (so as you can alter your selection as you drive), a sunroof, and a spoiler. I really looks nice and drives beautifully. ( Read more... )

Yesterday I was witness to something I'd only ever heard about, or seen in movies. The most reliable car I've ever owned, my 1995 Pontiac Grand Am, is no longer in a functioning state. I've had the car for over four years, and put over 80,000 miles on it. Its taken me to six different states; through sand dunes, muddy lake edges, and rock-strewn mining pits. I've drank, smoked, made-out and even made love in it. I'm sure I've ( Read more... )

Had my first day of work yesterday. Spent over two hours cleaning kennels. It should be the only time I have to clean them all myself, though.
