I'm posting this is a sort of "public announcement", not that anyone cares but for anyone that might come to my page from another particular user's page

I saw your posts earlier and read what you had to say, and I was convinced that you were telling the truth.

I have since done an ASCII portrait of Ron Jeremy and posted a link to it on that particular thread. Hey, what can I say, I like to pimp my site. ;)

I was surprised though when the owner of this LJ who's impersonating RJ put a link to that page as an LJ entry. Which meant it went on the front page.

I've had 4000+ click thru's within just a few days. So the guy is pulling a fair bit of traffic to his site.

There's 24 comments so far on his latest entry thread. Someone posted a link to your site here and cited the Le_Hedgehog blog as being a farce.

Don't worry too much. Your work is done. Write a letter to Ron Jeremy's management and direct them to the page URL and give them details of how they should go about closing it down.

They'll get their lawyers onto it. And it can only get messy from there.

Aussie, Thanks so much for your help :) Like I had mentioned, it's not so much that he's being a smartass pretending to be Ron, but the fact that so many people are being tricked into it and this guy is probably getting alot of free shit and stuff that he doesn't deserve. It's sad.. and I feel bad for anyone that got taken advantage of.

Even though it's most likely a fake, you're still way too obsessing about it. So what? It's a game someone seems to be playing but you're acting like it's a personal affront AND you are starting to act like a stalker, celebrity or not. Life goes on.

I've been on his friends list for months, and have never for a moment believed that it belonged to the real ron jeremy. I think it's pretty obvious that it's a goof, but I guess there's a sucker born every minute, pardon the pun.

There's many people on livejournal and myspace who claim to be celebrities when it's obvious they aren't. I believe it's simply because they may like that celebrity a lot, who knows.

As for LJ abuse, Ron Jeremy himself, or possibly his agent, must be the one to contact LJ abuse and file a claim, or they won't follow up on it at all.
