Days like this, windy, cloudy, dark and stormy, just get me in an odd mood. Been thinking about the future a lot, more than i normally do. What makes a person strive for excellence, strive to be the best? Is it a natural will to be dominant, how they were raised, or something else ( Read more... )

I've always associated peace with reason and justice, if that makes sense. Just health and rightness. Peace and right have always been synonymous with me. I don't think peace is a destination or a surrender. It's with you all the time, waiting for you to shrug all the useless battles you've been fighting and open your eyes.
But that's just me.
