I think the most you can do is keep an open line of communication with your doctor about how you feel(physically and mentally)so that you can both tweak the dosage and intervals. It's different for each individual. Some people take a shot even as early as every 7 days. I take around 130mgs every 10 days after having experimented here & there for almost 4 years. Some or all indications that you're running out of T in your body are huge sudden fluctuations in sex drive, hot flashes (especially when you're due for your next shot a few days prior. You're eventuaually not saposed to have any hot flashes), abrupt changes in moods also. You'll experience some or all of these symtoms when you first start T, but I'm talking about after you stop having your periods. On some occasions, T can also cause people to be depressed and have suicidal tendencies. In that case, taking this stuff should not be thought of lightly. Honestly, I've personally had the depression symptoms, and it was scarey. It was because my doctor at the time was having me ( ... )

I think in a lot of cases guys makes those kinds of assumptions a little too early. It takes a longer time than you would expect to regulate the hormones in your system, be patient before you start making changes. remember too much T will lead to behavioral problems and other more serious things (I got an aortic infection from increasing my doseages, thought I was gonna have a heart-attack for about six weeks, and it wasn't that much more).

A word of advice I figured out, when it comes to giving yourself the shots. The pharmacist gave me syringes one time that had an extra sheath that could slide down over the needle, then when you push it in and it holds the needle straight. Before then I'd have a knot in my leg after I took my shot. It just worked better.
