In Alice it seems our choices will be Farmers Union or Pauls. Strangedave will be facing some lifestyle changes, methinks.

Dave seems to like the "light" version of the Farmers Union stuff (my review of which, later :), so he should be OK.

Yeah, I love having a home espresso machine. I got lucky with the Braun I got for nothing by cashing in my fly-buy points. Previously I got a cheap one and it turned into a fountain of steam and coffee grounds after six months. Good luck with your one. :-)

Fly-buys: ha! I've been collecting those for over five years, and have only just got enough to buy myself a $50 shopping voucher.

About this fountain: dangerous?

We get a few fly-buys because we put the petrol on them. Works out well but it takes a while.

The fountain can scald you a little. Not a good thing to clean up either.

haven't tried the Victorian ones, but I was appalled at the crap they were trying to pass off as iced coffee in Queensland when I was there recently.

I remember that Simon S. used to take is full weight allowance in Master's ice coffee back to Melbourne when he used to come over for a visit, to pass on to the ex-Perthites over there.

Odd; Masters Iced Coffee is hardly remarkable. Still, each to his own.

I've never found anything like WA iced coffee anywhere else in the world.

I'm curious about the sugar content of Coffee Chill, now. I mean, I think it's only 860kj for 600ml, but maybe that's actually for "a serving" (a sneaky measure if ever there was one). Shall have to check when I'm back in Feb.
