I'm so relieved I got to do hanami this year! Last year I was in Thailand, which was great, but I do love this kind of Japanese thing. Plus, this year I got to play host to my Aunt and Uncle as they're visiting Japan for the first time. (well, Marie anyway

We miss it EVERY year! I swear, I have the worst timing. I'm really glad Marie and Tim got to do it though; it's gorgeous and you guys all look so cute and happy. Food looks yummy too, and let's face it, I didn't miss any of that good stuff. Score! Some day I'll manage to time it right, but seriously, 3 times and we didn't catch it once! Oh well. What nice pictures of a beautiful day. You are a terrific host, Jessica. I'm missing you already and I am so happy we were able to come to Japan and spend time with you and your friends.
