Well another day of work is done. For anyone that doesn't know already i work at the Army & Navy dept store on white ave, and have been working there for the last year and a half. As a result virtually every article of clothing that i own has been bought there. jk

wow, i would love to work on whyte ave! (no puns/dirty jokes please) i know you are plannin to quit, but is must have been fun, seeing all the different people, and being right in the center of edmonton fun. ( i consider whyte ave to be the fun center of edmonton)

It's true Whyte ave has become the social hub of Edmonton for better or for worse, even more so then downtown, and the Mall. Army & Navy itself has been in that building since the 30's i belive, i've had 45 year old women come up to me and tell me that they used to work there back when they were in their teens, so the building does have a lot of history. It also has a lot of dust, and for the longest time the shelving fixtures had not been moved, when one day we decided to re-organize the store, and move the sheves around there was 3 inches of dust underneth, i don't know how long it was there, but we found a flyer that dated back to 1979.
