I find it odd - see, I just created this LiveJournal (I've been a member of the site for years, but I've moved between journals. Deleted my last one recently and created this new one today), and before anything else, even my first post in my own shiny new LJ, I'm posting in a community, a venting community. Let's wallow in self-pity together. I never seem to find the right one either. Although I know that saying things will get better is seriously stupid, but, without that faint hope of things getting better, then how can we get through life? humans are on earth to go through all this shit. all we can hope for is that beyond that seemingly never ending pile of shit,there will be our idea of happiness.
have you ever thought that perhaps the reason behind you never being able to find good friends is you yourself not giving anyone a chance?
i'm sure you'll find the friend and boyfriend you're looking for once you open up. Although I'm not a very good example. I've stopped believing in friendship.

i have high requirements and when i finally find someone who fits them perfectly, he will not talk to me. and i will not talk to him. figures. It just sounds like you need a good friend who is a great listener that you can bitch to who will listen. Me too, haha. I think everyone needs one. I have really bad jealousy issues when it comes to friendships too. And probably relationships, hell who knows. We basically pick the same kind of guys, except obviously I pick ones like that who are straight. Which is even rarer than finding gay ones like that, sad to say. But anyway, just comment me if you need to bitch or something, I listen (:
