The Enemy of my Enemy - Constantine

Author's Notes: Constantine isn’t mine. Don’t claim it is. Just like the fandom.

The Enemy of my Enemy…

Gabriel was angry. Angry at mortals. Angry at being mortal.
Angry at Satan. Angry at God.

But mostly, angry at John Constantine.
Constantine - he knew - was in some twisted way, responsible for Gabriel’s rage at the Lord. For Wrath was a sin…and even Angels, though having fallen from His grace, aren’t above sin.

And Gabriel also knew that his power, and wings, were gone. Probably stolen by that unworthy mortal..
Stolen by the blasphemous child that worked with Constantine.
For Gabriel knew, that Constantine, and all those with him, belonged in the flames of Hell for the sins they committed against God.

Gariel knew this was true, simply because John himself belonged in Hell. He committed a mortal sin. Though, Gabriel understood that God had forgiven John. And that Chaz had committed no real sin.

But still…they were both sinful.

And Gabriel plotted his revenge.

“Dark One…I have a plan.”
A smile played at Satan’s lips. This was gonna be good…

“And…I’m caring why?”

“It’s about Constantine. I have a plan to unveil his soul to God and prove to Him that John doesn’t deserve to pass beyond the Gates.”

Satan stifled a laugh. Oh boy…Gabby’s off his rocker…this is priceless…should I tell him to fuck off now, or should I see how much further he goes before I bust a gut..?

…Naw. Let him go on. This is too good to pass up..!
“Okay, I’m listening.”

“This would not mean that I’m in leage with you at all, you realize. You’re not clean.”

“Look who’s talkin’, pretty boy.”
Gabriel turned to look at Lucifer, giving him a glare that, were it lasers, would have him in a pretty bad spot right now… that is..if he were mortal…which he wasn’t.

“Plan, huh?”
Gabriel nodded. He didn’t realize that, being mortal, any ‘plans’ with Satan, should Satan accept them, put him in league with Satan. Rules were rules, truth be told. Lucifer smiled. Gabriel didn’t realize also, that when Satan showed up, he’d already accepted, no matter what the plan was. Gabriel was mortal, and could be a victim of the Balance, so he pretty much had to do whatever Satan told him to.
“Whatcha got?”
