Some rather disturbing and sad news reached me today. It looks as though the Watcher headquarters was destroyed by some sort of explosion. For the life of me I can not phathom who would do this or why. I suppose the answers will come eventually however for now all there is to do is leave for England and try to rebuild what remains. I am sorry dear. I have many things on my mind at the moment.

There was an explosion at the Watchers Council Headquarters sometime early morning. There is not much left to salvage and I am afraid I need to leave for England soon. They will need someone to rebuild.

What, leave now? But the shop, and why does it have to be you? Are there no other Watchers left to rebuild? Maybe you could get Xander's company to rebuild it for you and you wouldn't have to go.

I wish that were the case, Anya. However there is no one left, many of my colleagues were present when the explosion happened. It is not just the physical building that needs to be rebuilt, the organization was lost too.

I am certain I would eventually come back, however this will take time. I can not garuantee it will be soon.
