Socks for my sister Tami. She is the most brash, loud, fun, funny, tomboyish Biker Chick I've ever met and I couldn't love her more. Deep down, where no one knows it, she likes purple. And Lime. These socks have her name all over them. Then there's my kitty, Kitty. She love lizards. For dinner. Just kidding! Just for playing with.....

I love how it's almost making climbing Steps with the striped yarn.
What pattern are you using?

And Cats don't like me usually...
Mostly because I want them to come cuddle with me like dogs do...
But the Cat is like.. Um.. screw you?

I'm using the generic toe up, afterthought heel pattern. You can totally get one pair out of a ball, with plenty left over!

The lizard hunting was observed and photographed by the husband and kidling.

Cats are totally like... screw you!

Check out this link to Threadbear Fiber Arts. Third and forth on the list is cascade solid and multi-colored. Their prices are cheaper than my LYS. AND I know these guys! I shopped there quite a bit when my husband worked near their store in Indiana! Rob (one of the owners) is the designer of Broadripple from Knitty, also in Cascade Fixation!
You only need one ball for footies, but of course if you want different colored heels and toes you'd need more, but then you can make two pair, the inverse of each other!

Which ones do you like? In the mean time I'll work on writing out my directions for starting! Yay, our own little knit-along!
