Nick and I had lunch out with my husband and I decided to take a trip North to Punta Gorda to visit Knit Wit. Christy and I had a date for knitting and pie, but it was preempted by technical difficulties. So I went hoping for a few minutes of shopping. That is so not fair! damebecca just got hired as a knitting store sample knitter too! Are you getting paid in yarn like she is? I halfway wish I could do that for a LYS too, but the one shop is kind of snooty, and the other is sufficiently staffed, I believe. (And it doesn't seem you just walk into the shop and ask to be a sample knitter. Poo.) The craft stores usually get people who actually work for them to do their stuff, too. Like I don't have enough projects on the needles as it is. Heh.
