Kitty Manicure

Dec 05, 2006 05:27

My kitty, Kitty, who might be pregnant has to wear nail caps, so as not to shred our belongings. We love Soft Paws. While we usually go with clear, I couldn't resist the red when I saw them...

I never knew there was an alternative to removing the claws. Fabulous. Means she can still 'paddle' away to her hearts content and you get to have puncture-less legs \o/

Ver' festive too *grin* She might get stroppy next time though, when you make her have clear again. I think you should get pale green ones for spring, and something orangey for summer *evil*

Yay to see you again!

Declawing is actually cutting off the top joint of thier "finger", not just pulling out the nail. I just couldn't do it. THese glue on and stay for 6-8 weeks. They still allow her to flex and stretch, just doesn't allow her to ruin my furniture!

We do have blue coming up next, and they have lime and yellow mixed!

None of the cats we have ever had have been de-clawed, or if they have they came to our home like that already (we always took strays or cats in need of a new home). I think the only cat I've ever known be de-clawed was a friend whose cat had one claw done for medical reasons:)

Blue eh? Very dashing:D

We actually took your suggestion on Soft Paws (because I also cannot EVER declaw a cat!), and now Carmina has pink paws! It was a pain in the butt to get on...she ripped them off at first, nail included. I have one very sick cat!

But, her ears and face thank you. I think the hair might grow back.

Kittens, huh? hhmmm...I like purry fuzzballs! ;-)

aww those are cute. I assume she is an indoor cat only? My late kitty would have been upset if I had done something like that. She loved climbing trees.
