My girl, you are on the right track by dreaming, even if you don't know what your dreams are.

My dream is to get some sleep one of these days, but that's one of those silly dreams you shouldn't hang your hope on.

Of course it does... it's just buried very deep. There's a lot more to a person than floats to the surface on a daily basis. It just takes a long time to figure out how to dive down.
