I) First, recommend to me:
i. a movie:
ii. a book:
iii. a musical artist, song, or album:
iv. another LJ user that I don't have as a pal

II) I want everyone who reads this to ask me three
questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want.

III) Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends to ask you

thanks for the suggestions, my sexy tiki-head [i don't really think you have a tiki-head, but you say you do...and it's just the cutest damn nickname <3]

001. i'm contented, but not completely happy...as a neurotic perfectionist, i think i'm stuck living my life in a state of almost-happy...nevertheless, life has been much worse, so i'm feeling pretty good at the moment.

002. see 001. [neurotic perfectionist]

003. hmmm, that's a tough one...i don't really live an extravagant lifestyle right now, so there's not much to give up...perhaps i'd give up useless shopping, excess money, or soy lattes [the last one being a rough one for me to give up as it's one of my only luxuries] <3

II)
i. what kind of old person do you think you will make?
ii. how can I absorb your knowledge of programs like flash without having to actually work?

i want to see napoleon dynamite so badly...must see it soon.
thanks for the book suggestion...i need to pick that up...
which tricky album, in your opinion, is the best?

001. i'll probably end up as the whacky old lady with the huge sunglasses and cool hair...either that or the one that's obsessive about having a wardrobe filled with "classic pieces"...and, i'm praying, rich and extremely happy...i'd say "one who has a really long cigarette holder", but i'm hoping to quit before i get old...

002. get the program and play with it...the new flash mx program has tutorials to teach you all the basics...it's ridiculously fun when you get a handle on it...from there, you advance...and then consider picking up an advanced flash coding book to do really cool stuff...for me, the flash thing has taken the back burner, unfortunately...due to all the other craziness in my life ( ... )

right-o...definitely have to check out that movie...
thanks for the book suggestion...i've been falling behind on my reading...i think i might be illiterate now...

i meant to pick up that album, but i was poor...and then probably bought boots or something...which made buying the album seem like a worse idea.
i'll just slap it on my amazon wishlist.

001. as much as a wood chuck could chuck wood if a would chuck could chuck wood...
002. the sound of an airplane starting and speeding up on the runway before take-off...calming to some, exciting to some, nerve-wracking for others, and just damn terrifying for a few.
003. if not soon...then definitely in june. of course you will.

thanks for the suggestions...
saw waking life...it took selfom and i several tries to get through it...not because it was boring, but because it's calming...so, we always ended up falling asleep...
have the prophet...was a great book.
have zero 7...nice choice...
will have to check out your lj friend.

001. i've never seen one, but i've felt one...ghost, spirit, whatever you want to call it...all i know is that it got really cold and my body wouldn't move...just my eyes...it was terrifying.

002. the power to make everyone happy including myself...simultaneously.

003. my 2 week resignation period to be up so i can take my vacation, party, and then start my new, much better job...

i Baraka -boring to some, but beautiful to me. There is no narration.
ii Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan -amazing cyberpunk
iii Album: Tourist by St. Germain -if I had to put it in a category, I'd say it was acid jazz(ish)

1. Lady Snowblood. Seriously. Meiko Kaji kills a bunch of guys. Kill Bill was inspired by it. But Lady Snowblood is way better. Find it. Yes.

1. What is your favorite alcoholic beverage? Please be as specific as possible.

2. Do you plan to get married? And, if so, when you were younger(say 16-ish) did you think you'd be married by now? What's the earliest age you can imagine yourself getting married?

3. What would you say is the most violent movie you've ever seen?

Sorry, I cheated.
And these questions are kinda schizophrenic. But enjoy!

001. singapore sling

002. yeah.
at 16, i knew i wouldn't be married yet...too much life to live...ironically, though, the man i fell in love with at 16 is the man i'm dating now and the one i plan to marry...life is strange.
the absolute earliest i imagine myself getting married is 25...

003. dead alive...violent and funny as all hell...i think it was said to be the movie to use the most fake blood ever.

i like schizo questions.
no need to apologize.
