lalala, first entry here

so, i just joined here i think yesterday, or the day before.. I bought "Glamorama" a few weeks ago, and i have like about 50 pages of it left. (ive been reading a few chapters a night). I love it so far though, Bret Easton Ellis= A Genius of the 90s. I've read "Less than Zero" and "The Informers", which were both completely awesome. I also highly ( Read more... )

ummm... nick mcdonnel. He is only like 18 or was when he wrote it, but it's a lot like bret easton ellis's stories because of the ominescent(?) point of view and true-to-the-generation plot. it's more about the 21st century but it's soo soo good. i highly reccomend it. I havent heard of one person disliking it.

twelve really felt like an author's first novel. I think Ellis does a genius job of grounding his novels in the painfully mundane, especially with Less than Zero. i just iddnt buy twelve, especially then ending
