i wish i was better at writing about books, i would go on forever. i think there will be many many more entries dedicated to this book in the near future, while i read it a third time.

the only way to get better at writing about books is to go on forever ... your piece on glamorama is great because it's a tough book to say anything about that makes sense. the only advice I'd give you is to marshal the ideas you have into paragraphs and thematic sections. it will make everything so much easier.

but carry on!

if you can prove your points that you seem to feel are generally thought of as incorrect, then do that. but calling people who believe something different than you do 'stupid' or 'dumb' isnt gonna help get your point across.

LOVED your rant. Totally awesome :) I agree with everything you've said, yay!

I also think this is Ellis's greatest novel so far and one of my favourite books of all time. If you ever feel like ranting further about it, feel free - I'll be reading.

Now I'm going to have to reread it again. As soon as exams are over. bleh.
