Very important women throughout my lifetime...

Vanessa - The nucleus of my core people, you’ve shown me so many things within so little time, and I’m sure you have yet to have even broken a sweat.

My Best Friends

Sharetta- Definition of Diva, every girlfriend I had in high school and college, I used you as a bar to measure. In all realness, and no disrespect to my ex-girlfriends, only your friend Velvet up there has met that mark. You always have kind words, though you always seem to be ready to cuss someone out, you hardly ever did. I definitely learned the most about women (outside of my relationships) from you. Shit hasn’t changed, either.
Barbara - My dawg, my sis, my best friend, since Mrs. Hunter and Mrs. Johnson- Since we were the same height- since Mrs. Lane beat the shit out of Ashley Cole with “Chester Cheata”- you’ve been my family. It’s been like this since BEFORE day 1, and I don’t think our bond can change. EVER. Nobody has history like me and you. No one.
Rhonda-Your way of making me feel uncomfortable is ironically a comfortable environment for me (asking me questions about every little thing in my life is a luxury I’d only give to my ‘sisters’ up there, so when you do it I used to feel weird, but it was definitely nothing new to me). You have an infectious smile, got a strong sense of family, and just one of the most influential women in my life. You and two others (Cindy and Krystle) made me feel incredibly comfortable at Serra when I first got there. You were my Sharetta and Barbara when I couldn’t talk to Sharetta and Barbara. You probably never knew that, but that meant a lot to me, and I definitely hold you in extremely high regard.
Women of Atherton - Erica, Terica, Candice, Trina, Toni, Kendra- Crazy ass mothafuckas, a full spectrum of women who exposed me to how women are at a young age. For better or for worse, you guys have influenced me in ways you may never know. Significantly.

Ex's...turned great friends
Nikki - My first girl, my first love, my first breakup, my first kiss. We haven’t talked in a long minute, and even when we do manage to catch each other, you still show me love like it was just yesterday. You are probably the reason I'm still on good speaking terms with the majority of my ex-girlfriends. Also, congrats on your engagement!
Tiffany - Seems like yesterday I was running out of your house because I thought your uncle had a gun, and he caught you on my lap that day. Haha! You’re a sweet, yet feisty individual, another aspect of women that I definitely remembered to watch out for.
Jennifer - You’re most likely never gonna see this, but everything about our relationship was of course my fault. At the time, I didn’t know, I was just doing what typical teenagers do. I’ve definitely learned a lot from dealing with you, more so than any other girlfriend I’ve had.
Raven - It’s weird even thanking you for anything, but I’ve yet to regret a relationship. If I can learn anything from it, it’s well worth it. I’ve learned a lot about myself while with you, and how I can feel for another individual. Definitely the most intense feelings for a person I’ve ever had, and hence me learning a lot more about myself rather than anything else.
Mel - Crazy ass, from memf10, I love your ass to death and you’ll always be revered. I don’t think my transition into the South would have been nearly as smooth without you. You definitely became my most sturdy support while out there, even more so than my fam at times.

Tai - Such a cool chick and ambitious, I strive to be like you real soon.
Virginia - We’ve been through a lot and we still bump heads. It’s still good to know that you can still come from under dark clouds with that dorky giggle of yours.
Dani - Taught me intense feelings can be convenient, and also flighty, but open conversation will make sure both parties are saved some unneeded problems.
Carmen - Impact and influence is about quality, not quantity. The few influences you’ve had on me have definitely shaped the way I think of a few things. I hope you always stay the way you are.
Anigi- Why do you rock so hard? Another Tennessee chick who I can’t get enough of.
Bennett- You’ll most likely never see this, but you definitely sent me off to Lousiana with a changed perspective about my goals, and what to come back to.
Teri - You’ve shown me some things that I didn’t want to see, but needed. You and a few others helped me realize that Missouri is not for me, even though you may not know that. You’re a very caring and deserving individual.

Best friends I've never met
Tessa - my eHeart, my best friend. I’ll get to squeeze you one day. You’ve definitely shown me a new definition of what friend is, and that distance doesn’t matter as far as certain aspects.
Krisha - You make the days go by a lot faster with your novel-worthy stories and happenings.
