my mom cares so much about the plants in her garden, the flowers, that she goes outside on days that are really hot and puts up beach umbrellas over flowers that "arent too happy with the heat ( Read more... )

it is true. i am fully aware that it is summer, but don't really feel like i've truly HAD summer yet. i miss everyone, and want them to come home. but at the same time i want them to be where they are and enjoy the summeryness.

i have not even gone swimming yet. how dreadful is that?

It's a lot easier to be kind to animals and plants than it is to be kind to people. Or, at least, animals and plants tend to be more kind than people. Or something. But I'm probably just being negative.
