Beltaine and stuff

Oh man, I wish we could take our boys on walks like that! What a joy. :) It's just way too hot in Florida.
Also, our vet said not to expose them to sunlight very much because it'll stimulate their adrenal gland and cause adrenal disease. O_O Unfortunately our boys came from Marshall (largest ferret mill for pet/research subjects). It breaks our heart, but they were specifically breed weaker. :\ Does your country have anything like that when it comes to ferret breeders?

We usually go in mornings or close to evenings, when there's plenty of shading and the sun isn't bad. During full summer Oscar doesn't get out unless he wants to after sundown (and after it's cooled down enough) :) He really enjoys his walks

We've all heard the horror stories of Marshall ferrets in Europe :/ Not nice.

Over here there's nothing like it, or atleast not that I know of. Breeders are always personally involved with a couple of nests a year but I've never come across a big breeding-business.

Ours came from a local hunter who breeds them for strength and handler-friendliness.

Congratulations on all the gardening -- it looks lovely! I hope everything grows up beautifully for the rest of the season. Blisters heal, but herbs and veggies last all year.
