that bonfire night was the worst yet, and I didn't sleep a wink. At around midnight we went to bed, and all we could see was the fire blazing high above the houses. Obviously Im biased about all this but a lot of stuff that happens is just bad manners.....the unionist OR nationalist bonfires with flags indicating hatreds....the public urination on marches....the wanting to walk where unwanted.....and the nationalist obsession with closing main roads....all bad manners.
But I think we could all progress if the bad manners aspect and mutual respect replaced the bad manners. :)

This is normally a annual flashpoint with sectarian troubles in Irish and Northern Irish (and small degree Scottish) past. The rioting used to feature on the main UK news, but for the past few years it's been quite quiet until this year.
