I find my prof to be conducting herself rather unprofessionally via email, although in a fashion fitting to her 'character' that I've become acquainted with over the term. Given the extenuating circumstances, I guess I expected a little less "I don't have time to deal with this" and a little more "you poor thing, what can I do to make this easier

I told you about my all caps incidents with Bates right? Could it be that without the reality of a human face in front of them profs. return to the pure self interest that got them the job in the first place?

Ah yes, the all-caps incident...
And I'm pretty sure you are right about the 'reality of a human face' bit.
Also, my dad is out of intensive care. I believe the expression is 'wh00t'!!
