Ok, so tomorrow is the day I ask the guy out, but during the week I've been thinking it over a lot. I'm still in love with Chris but I know we have no chance together, what-so-ever. I say go out on a date and see how it feels, no need to get uber close the to the dude right away. Maybe it will just be nice to go to the movies and dinner with someone.

Whenever there's uncertainty about an important decision, it's always best to try to gather more information. Get to know him, find out if he's available, what things you have in common, etc. Take some time, and learn what you can before worrying about a choice.
