and seriously... if you ever watched Troy... the stroke brad pitt used almost mirrored the matadors... one swift, deep stroke right throw the bone structure... just a very very awesome blow...
In this case, no. I live in the USA, and I get the impression that regular farming practices here operate in a comparable ballpark of brutality, and the end is the same (food), but without the higher purpose or celebration or chance for the animal to survive. So to my mind, if I eat the meat here, I've already agreed to a less justified comparable brutality.
And it bothers me, but yeah, I long ago succumbed to that less justified brutality. If it's ok to eat the meat here (and it's not ok, but I do it anyway), then I'm not sure it's really ok to decide it's not ok to use a matador.
