How does anybody pick just ONE dress? I liked every single dress I put on. And I've only looked at two stores. I think this is why Becky wanted to call it quits after one store.

What's the tack-factor of costume changes? Anyone?

I made a list of things I *really* like about certain dresses (in my case, I loved ivory/champagne combo, satin, A-line, buttons down the back or corset lace up) and a list of things I *really* didn't like about dresses I tried on. Then, at subsequent dress places (er, place. I only went to two) I showed the salesperson the lists and set her to work picking dresses that fit in those good categories.

Or you could just get more than one :-P Whatever. This is just how an orange picked!

costume changes between ceremony and reception are acceptable, however, the reception dress is generally a party dress and not another bridal gown.
