Fred winked at George and placed his stash of treats near the food.

"We have to remember to tell Ron which things are hexed. Do you think we have enough food? The party is for Ron after all."

"Which also means Harry should be here, too. Hey Dobby? You think we have enough food for Ron AND Harry?"

Dobby turned to the twins. "Yes, sir. Dobby makes sure Harry Potter's friends have LOTS of food."

George smiled at the house elf. "Excellent. In that case, Dobby, I'll hope you'll join us for a bit. We want all of our friends here."

George looked at Fred with a grin. "Ron may kill me for that one, but it wouldn't be a fit party without him."

Ron walked into the common room, following his brothers' orders to meet them there, and was slightly surprised at the amount of food. His first thought was 'When can I eat?', and the second was 'Brilliant! A birthday party!'.

His third thought, however, was that there wasn't many people there. Just his brothers, and Lavender Brown. Disappointing. But the food did look good, which made up for the current lack of people.

"Am I early? Or do I just have no friends?," he asked, wondering if Harry would even turn up. "And, uh, do I have to wait to start eating?"
