Theodore was bored. He sat by the fire in the Slytherin common room, with his school bag at his feet and a roll of parchment in his lap. Vincent was returning from some quality time in the library. He had to keep his trips there quiet from his fellow students, as he had his thug image to uphold. But, being a Crabbe, he had stopped at the kitchens for a snack to bring back.

"Hey, Theo. I've got some snacks from the kitchen, want some?"

"No thank you, Vincent," Theodore said, snapping out of the trance the fire held him in. "I'm not hungry."

"Are you just coming in?" he asked, cocking an eyebrow. What would Crabbe possibly be doing right now, when Draco and Goyle weren't with him?

Vincent was not one to think fast on his feet.

"Uh.....yeah." he replied. He didn't want to give away that he'd actually been studying.

"Draco and Goyle decided to play hide and seek...and I got lost. So, I found the kitchens and here I am." Vincent was most impressed with himself - the story almost sounded believable. He was turning into a good Slytherin.

"You sure you don't want any snacks? I've enough for half our house here."
