to any well read lj member, i need books to help pad my "must read list"..preferably philosophical or religious readings would be tight. anything, german, chinese, japanese, new age, english, whatever i need reading material.

My favorite book of all time is Catch-22. Read it, at some point in your life.

Other books:
Chuck Pahlaniuk (Sp??), author of Fight Club, is really good. I recommend Choke.
Or Kurt Vonnegut. (Read Breakfast of Champions if you haven't read him before.)
Or Charles Bukowski.

read nobokov's pale fire, fyodor dostoevsky, vonnegut and palahnuik are great..vonnegut's slaughter-house five and cat's cradle are amazingg.
