read what you want to read. who cares if it's chick lit or chaucer, whatever makes you happy.

write what you want to write. don't worry about spelling and grammar and maturity and content and eloquence. write for yourself above all; nothing is more profound than the truth.

run as fast or as slow as you want to, or don't run at all. they can't chase you if you don't run. and if you do choose to run, you should be the only person you let chase you.

sing loudly. aren't they always telling us to let our voices be heard?
