Mr. Shelley's retirement party
Sorry for the double update today, but so far the details for Mr. Shelley's party are as follows:
Date: Friday, June 10th
Time: 4:00 to 6:00, so as to avoid after school stuff and be out before Friends of Music moves in at 7:00
Place: Freshmen Campus Auditorium/Commons
Food: There will be pizza and/or heros, soda, and desert baked by volunteers.
Cost: We'll be asking for about $5 from all who attend so we can cover the cost of the party. Price is subject to change, though.
I'm going to discuss the presentation with people from each grade, but I think were going to have small groups or individuals from each grade make their own tribute to him in whatever way they see fit. That's just an idea, though. I was also thinking of having a few high school bands play. Katie, Caitlyn, and Becky are working on the decorations. Everything but the time/date/place is subject to change; everything is still being discussed and decided, otherwise.
