Though I have the most horrible process I continuously subject myself to while essay writing. I write most of it out by hand before I even attempt the computer (I have no idea why?) I have chunks of paragraphs, fragments of sentences/thoughts/ideas, all over the place, on many different pages. I heavily rely on the use of arrows as well. Seriously, my writing and ideas are like a maze one must follow before any of it becomes coherent (sometimes this requires turning the notebook and reading things scribbled up the side of the page). Then I start to number things to try to group my thoughts into some sort of order. It's the longest, most ridiculous process ever, but it always ends up working out for me. That is why I never learn to do things the easy way. hah!
