religion used to inspire incredible paintings, sculpture, and adornments...it was flowing robes of purple, and gold and incense...

i suppose that type of thing still exists in the catholic church and especially the vatican...

but yet in most groups it is reduced to this absolutely hideous mediocrity...this awful decorum that wouldn't even be fit for advertising the features of the night at the local drive-in.

i would think that if a person decided to be over come by the belief in jesus and god that they would be just a bit more passionate in the expression of that belief.

so much for the days of the cistine chapel and icongraphic paintings, now are the days where our most mainstream passions are plunged into the cheesiness and chinciness of bumper stickers, refrigerator magnets, and plastic bracelets.

obviously everyone is a moron.

i suppose i should add that this is being displayed every night on university ave. downtown, in the window of a vacuum shop.

well i know its not an electrolux shop...electrolux is a whole religion onto itself.

I like this image. It's kind of ugly but it has depth, something about that makes my eyes ricochet back to it.
