You're the target that I'm aiming at

I hear everybody saying so many good things about Friday Night Lights, so I kinda started watching it. The tricky thing is I know nothing about American football so most of the times, when they're playing, I'm like um, interesting... what was that again? Why did they win? But yeah, it's not like the football match really is the main thing, so you ( Read more... )

I'll totally send you my copy! There are 2 articles about other shows that I want to scan and post but then it's all yours! :)

Everyone says FNL is so great and even though I don't like football I am assured that doesn't matter, still I haven't watched an episode yet. Did you think it was so great? I'm off to work now. Ciao

Awww, that'd be really cool! Thank you!! :D Then let me know how much I owe you, I know the postage can be crazy expensive.

No, it's true, the football isn't really the main thing (I mean, it kind of is 'cause, you know, all the guys play football, the main character is the coach of the team etc, but it's more about what's life like when you're a football star in high school, the struggles and all); I think the acting is really good (Connie Britton is awesome), the guys and girls are good looking (which is always a pro ;)), the episodes' plots make sense, the story itself is pretty smart (it's not cheesy like The OC or something)... Though I have to admit I'm still not hooked. I'm halfway through season 1 and I realize that I could easily go without it. I mean, it is a good show indeed, but I don't know if it's so great.
You should give it a try and see if it speaks to you. ;)

It's actually not that expensive. :) I don't think I have your address...

I don't think FNL is going to speak to me, that wasn't my high school experience at all. I might try it sometime but right now I have so many shows! LOL

Right, I'm gonna post my address in a screened comment.

That's probably why it doesn't speak to me either. Italian high school reality is so much different from yours that it's like watching sci-fi for me. ;-)
I know something about having many shows... In fact I started watching FNL only now because there's not much during summer.

A green Jaguar? You don't even drive! You should totally give me your dream-Jaguar! ;D

Actually, I do drive. Still, a Jaguar would be kinda useless to me cuz I don't like going fast. If I had one I'd probably drive it just to make people envy. :P

Since when do you drive? That's great! Now you can be both my personal assistant and my driver! You lucky girl!

I'm dying to watch FNL because everyone who watches it loves it, but my friend was supposed to give me the episodes and never did, and now the semester's over so I won't see her. *sad!face* So I don't know if I ever will.

Oh, you and your dreams! They always intrigue me!

I don't particularly love FNL, but it's a good show. Such a pity your friend forgot to give you the episodes. Maybe when it comes out on dvd you can rent it or something. :)
I dl the episodes, but as soon as I finish watching one I delete it, so I don't have any on my computer right now, otherwise I could've sent them to you.

Lol. Yeah, shiny Jaguars intrigue me too.
