The wedding itself is bogus. It's the party afterwards when you get to see all your friends that were scattered all over the place that makes it all worthwhile. Oh, and the love and romance blah blah blah.

Exactly! I'm tempted in my weaker moments to have bridesmaids just so I can dress them in white and call them stormtroopers. I'm not a fancy, wedding-y person. I want to put together a awesome party for my favorite people where the man and I just happen to get married. We're already commited and in love, everything else is just gravy.
