i have an automatic Nikon, but i changed it to manuel.
if you could get your hands on a working manuel Minolta. i would go for that.

Mine definitely decided to break today. (I have a really old manual Minolta) The reflecty mirror inside is not connected where it should be anymore. So basically I have to go pay to get it fixed.

it ended up being a lot cheaper and less of a pain in the ass to buy a new one.
