I have not been as tired as I was last night in a long time. But good God it was a great feeling. Gotta love it.
7am: Got up, did hair, got dressed, ate breakfast, etc.
8:15am: Left for Vancouver. Easy drive, didn't get lost, only cirled the block once when I got there. Couldn't get the fucking machine in the parking lot to work with my credit card. But never fear, Cindy was there. She rescued me, yay Cindy!
10am: Started warming up and walked to the parade start.
11am Parade began. There was everything from bagpipe bands (not just us, there were two or three other ones), clowns, paramedics, horses, semi-trucks pulling trailers with Irish dancers on them... Parade was really long and painful but I lived.
12:30 Back to the greenroom. Ate lunch.
1:30: Pipes back out. Warmed up for the first concert.
2pm: First concert began. By about 3:15 I wanted it to be over. Unfortunetly it wasn't done until 4. Agggh... Very tired at this point.
4pm: Sat around until about 4:30 when my parents and lovely boyfriend showed up. We ran around like chickens with our heads cut off until 5:30.
5:30pm: Back to the greenroom. Changed shirts again (third time). Warmed up for our second concert.
6:20pm: Last concert started. Sold-out venue, absolutely packed. We played very well. I think most of us were on the verge of passing-out/vomiting by about 7:45. Thank GOD that with some begging (initiated by me, I admit) David did not make us play our medely.
8:30pm: Concert ended. Great reception. Made all the practice worth it.
9pm: Although I lost my jacket and got a "ticket" (from the parking company.. long story, but it was bs), it was a good day and Aaron and I headed home.
10:45pm: Was showered and in bed! Pretty damn good turn-around. Every muscle in my body just ached... but it was great.
Now, this day was tons of fun. I had that great I'm just too sore to even move feeling. Unfortunetly, I had to be up for an 8am final this morning. Such is life. My PM David had to be up at 4am to work (he's a paramedic). That would be worse.
My fingers are killing me and my jaw hurts a ton. My shoulders also, which is interesting. But my left arm isn't bad. Odd, eh? Izzie, how are you? Sore? Tired? How did your final go? I am thinking about you (you should be 3 minutes into your final now).
Now I have to write this freaking paper. And study for my other final. But I can do it. If my fingers didn't hurt so much...
