Do you know much about cars? I'm having a problem with my transmission, so if you know anything about transmissions or know someone who does, it'd be awesome if you could look at mine. You don't have to do anything with it - it'd be cool to just have someone trustworthy tell me what's wrong with it before I take it to a mechanic and get screwed

have someone look at your trans fluid before you drive the car anyplace far. I had teh same problem wiht my jeep, but my sister neglected to tell anyone, and the trans died. Which is a hefty cost. If the trans fluid is low, add alot. And if the trans fluid is normal, then bring it somewhere to get it checked out right away. If your transmission goes, you wont have a car.

yea. I know transmissions are pretty expensive.
I hope the transmission isn't going.. I'm pretty sure the one I have now is a refurbished transmission from Dec. 2004, so hopefully it's not that.. maybe my dad knows how to check the fluid though. so thanks for the info.

idk what your up to on saturday, but if you end up ahnging out with dave and all of us, i can check it for you. Itll basically be the last time im here in jersey till mid august

hah your transmission is probably shot to hell, chris's did that same thing and he had to get a brand new trans. you'd be driving and all of the sudden your engine just starts over reving or randomly goes into neutral.

i have a manual, i don't have to worry about that hhehehe
