My name's Katherine, but I go by Katie sometimes. I'm 15 and I'm the youngest of all my friends, not because I skipped a grade or anything, I don't really know why. I'm short (5'1") and I have brown hair and brown eyes. I've got an amazing boyfriend, Matt, and our 2 year anniversary is in about 2 weeks. I listen to pretty much all kinds of music, from country to metal to emo. My favorite type of music is Alternative/Rock though, including bands like Hawk Nelson, Goo Goo Dolls, Bare Naked Ladies, Weezer, The Cure, and Relient K just to name a few. Wow, I just realized I forgot a really important part of my personality. About two years ago in September of '03 I was baptized and it's made the biggest and best impact on my life. I love church and feeling like I'm part of something bigger. I don't try to force my beliefs on anyone, but I do like to tell everyone how it's affected my life. Lets see, in my spare time I love playing tennis, it's really hot in Arizona, so I can't play that often in the summer. I like reading a lot and seeing movies with friends. I actually saw Madagascar yesterday, it was really really cute. When I have money, I love shopping too. Like I said before, I'll be a Junior in high school when school starts again. I'm actually pretty smart and maintain straight A's, last year I actually had some colleges sending me information and I was only a sophomore. I plan on doing something in the medical carreer when I get older, I love the idea of helping people and there's so many oppurtunities in that field. I'm taking a health care tech course next semester actually. And to finish this really long paragraph off, my favorite color is green

1♥ Describe yourself in THREE words. Caring, Goofy, & Outgoing
2♥ What have you learned most out of life, and how did you learn it? I'm still sort of learning this lesson. I have a real big problem opening up to people, and when I don't feel like opening up to people I just lie. I'm not a pathological liar or anything it's just that I'm learning that honesty really really is better. I had so much drama with my friends freshman year, and that summer I looked back on it and told myself that that wouldn't happen again, and it didn't. So I'm currently training myself to open up to people instead of keeping it to myself and if I have a problem with anything, don't avoid the confrontation, it's easier to get it over with.
3♥ What would you say your TWO most attractive traits are inside (personality), and out (looks)?
Inside - I'm extremely passionate and caring for my friends and family. I'd give my life for any of them even if they wouldn't do the same for me. If I ask how your day is going, I honestly want to know and if it isn't that great, I want to make you feel better. I put most people's well-being before my own.
Outside - I don't really have a favorite part of my body that I think is attractive, I know this isn't right but I don't like the way my face looks, but that's what God gave me and I'm blessed for one. Besides that, I think my body in general is very attractive (that's weird for me to say). I didn't used to be comfortable with myself because I never really 'developed' until after freshman year, but now I can say I have nice legs and upper body and honestly believe it, even if someone else doesn't feel the same way.
4♥ How do your friends see you (the advice giver, the one who's always there, or what)? I'm definately the one who's always there. I'm the one they always come running to, even if I can't give them any advice, they know that I'll listen. I really love that my friends see me like that because I love helping them. When one of my friends is sad, it actually makes me sad because most of the time, there's nothing I can do for them except be there.
5♥ Who, or what do you think influenced you to act the way you do the most? I've mentioned above that I became a Christian a while back and I have to say that Jesus influences my life the most. He's my everything, my savior, my friend, and I admire everything about him. I want to reflect him through everything I do, so he mostly affects the way I act. I realize that some people in the community may not have the same beliefs as me, but I want to let you all know that I spoke what I felt so please don't criticize me for it.

Okay, I have two and they're both lj icons. Weird I know.
I picked this one because I love being a dork with my friends and I really don't regret anything I do that makes me look silly. And my favorite color is green.
I also picked this one. The lyrics are from I So Hate Consequences by Relient K and I chose this one because sometimes I don't think before I speak and it gets me into a lot of trouble. And I love Relient K.
__ Things that make you different (opinion questions).
1♥ What do you think of capital punishment (the death penalty)? I don't think I'm super-educated enough on this subject to have a really clear opinion. Sometimes I feel it's right, if you killed someone out of cold-blooded murder I think you should be killed too. I have a problem with capital punishment because what if the person is really innocent? (I know that's a small chance)
2♥ What celebrity, or celebrities do you think infulences people (particularly kids, & teenagers)? Definately the bands they listen to, which isn't anyone in particular because everone listens to different music. I know that I'm influenced by my music. I don't mean to offend anyone if like bands like Good Charlotte, but I used to listen to them and some of their songs are just depressing and obviously that makes kids feel a certain way, or it makes them act like they want to be that way, forcing them to be someone they're not.

1♥ Describe your "style." I'm the jeans and t-shirt girl. I LOVE my jeans, I'd wear them year round if it was so freaking hot here. I look silly in spaghetti straps so I usually wear cap sleeved t-shirts. Sometimes I wear skirts because people have said I have nice legs, but they're just a pain.
2♥ Tell us a joke, or post something FUNNY (make us laugh).

3♥ What do you think of this _insideandout overall (the application, the layout, the members, or whatever)? It looks really really active and I love the layout. The members look awesome, and it'd be great to be a part of it.
4♥ What could we do to improve _insideandout? I looked around and I honestly didn't see or can't think of anything that would improve this. Maybe a scavenger hunt, or something like that? It's very organized and neat and that's what I personally look for in a community.
5♥ How could you benefit this community (why should you be accepted)? I'd be active, but I'm sure everyone says that. I'm pretty good at making graphics and I'll be at home every day starting next wednesday, so I know all I'm going to do is sit at the computer lol. Everyone looks very friendly and I would like to be accepted so I could meet some new people.
