Daniel Matheson emailed me out of the blue the other day ('out of the blue' being I haven't seen hide nor hair of him for a year and half or so). He began with innocent queries, then got to the point. Which was, apparently, that I was going out with Ben. Dude. I haven't seen Ben, or yourself, really since I finished school, so I was like 'Zomg, Daniel, you're so full of crap', but I couldn't stop laughing either way. It wasn't even a question, it was a simple statement 'You're going out with Ben, huh.'
Anyway, yeah. Made me think of you. And I couldn't really help myself, had to mention it.

It makes me wonder who would have said anything like that to him, or where he would have gotten that idea from. I mean, Ben has a girlfriend, and when I just read this comment to him, he couldn't even remember who Daniel was.

Funny, though, that this is the second time I've heard Daniel Matheson's name mentioned in the past couple of weeks. Chris pointed out that Daniel's mother is working at Bowland or something. I certainly haven't seen or heard from Daniel since high school, and for him to email you about something as absurd as that is really quite strange.
