Waking slowly from his dreams, Mega rolled into the bed he was lying in, finding it smaller than he remembered his bed to be, as well as a different firmness. Letting his blurry eyes open, he scrambled as he reached out to his nightstand that wasn't there, feeling around in confusion to find his glasses. "What the," he muttered out, sitting up and rubbing his eyes with fisted hands. It came to his immediate attention that he was naked, which was strange, because he never went to bed without- oh. Right. Looking to the empty bed beside him, Mega was shocked to find himself feeling three very strong emotions in quick succession. Panic. Confusion. Disappointment. Where was Line? Hadn't they? The small kitchen contained everything Line needed to make a breakfast for both he and his boss. It was frightfully ordinary, without any hint of personality. The walls were white, the counter tops were white, the cabinets...white. No magnets were on the small efficiency fridge, and all appliances were put away. In fact, the only thing visible aside from the walls, closed cabinets, and clean counter top, was a small blue sponge sitting on top of the sink still slightly damp from the day before. In no time flat, Line had gotten together some fresh fruit consisting of plums and even a few strawberries he'd forgotten about just long enough for them to become perfectly ripe. He also took out some bread and cheese and opted to make grilled cheese instead of the usual cheese sandwich. Not having anything even remotely resembling eggs, bacon, or cereal, Line hoped Mega wasn't a big fan of traditional breakfast foods.
