Jakotsu's ears pricked up as he heard a twig snap. That sound was almost immediately overruled, however, by the voice of that odd little green thing again. He blinked furiously through the smoke but he still couldn't see. He heard a swish and ( Read more... )

Jaken glared up at the idiot holding his staff. "You let me go, you foul wretch! My master Sesshoumaru will not treat you kindly over this! I would give up now and run while you can!"

Jaken kicked out at the man, his anger knowing no bounds. Only Lord Sesshoumaru could manhandle him like this and get away with it. Smirking, Jaken nodded. "You leave me no choice! Either release me or I will invoke the power of the Staff of Heads!"

Jaken tried to maneuver himself so he could tap the staff on the ground. This foul undead human would never know what hit him when the energy shot forth.

"This is your last warning. Lord Sesshoumaru will surely be vexed when he finds you!"

A loud abrasive voice sqawked out from the purple smoke conjured by the undead man. His opponent was obviously not a ninja, but the confusion of the smoke bomb was surely a tactic used by hired assassins. And now he has Jaken, Sesshoumaru thought with narrowed eyes ( ... )

Jakotsu laughed to himself and picked up the green thing "Jaken" or whatever it actually was, wading though the smoke which seemed to have become even thicker if it was at all possible.

"When I say run, you run."

His ears pricked up and he turned around to face the direction of his opponent's voice. He took a step toward him and was pulled over slightly by Jaken struggling and squirming with his clothing still in Jakotsu's hand.

He shook him about violently. "Stop that!" he snapped, kicking out at him since his other hand was occupied with holding the Jakotsutou.

Looking back over to where the voice had come from moments earlier, he heard a sliding metal against metal sound. That damned sword again he thought frustratedly. "Alright, you wanna play cutie? Let's play."

Sesshoumaru heard his accursed opponent's voice and let out a low growl. The fool, he thought with a large degree of disgust.

Thanks to his inuyoukai senses, he was able to see most of his way through the thickening fog. His opponent, undead or not, was a human, and so had little in the way of the senses. He saw a glint of the winding sword carried by his enemy and leapt into the air. Bearing Toukijin, he allowed himself to come crashing down upon the undead man, meaning to end it at that moment.

Play? This is no game.
