after a while when they got to the lake, kagome put her bag down and walked over to where inuyasha was and then she asked "inuyasha what happened to you?"

Alone... all alone in the darkness... It has been like this for days now. Kikyou hadn't seen anyone lately. There was no one... not even a minion sent from Naraku to spy on her.

There must be someone around... perhaps, I shall go back to the village...
