"the bird" is quite an interesting character...i can't for the life of me, get him/her to tell me his/her name. Its quite frustrating actually, i have yet to go on any expeditions with the bird, AND after reading your experience, i think i'll let YOU be the explorer and i'll be the chicken who stays at home just sitting on top of the building.
